It was so much fun hosting 18 dear friends for a Valentine's Day Dinner. The best part for me was setting the table. I bought pink and red heart salad plates to sit on new white dinner plates. Desert, the most important part of a Valentine dinner, was Pudding Chomeur Cakes. I used a recipe from House and Home Magazine. The recipe came from the Chef Martin Picard's Au Pied de Cochon restaurant in Montreal. I enjoyed preparing something very out of the ordinary. All in all, it was nice to have a project for a couple days. It gave me a reason to smile....
