Before and After
Late Summer and Harvest time bring so much dust and dirt to our Central Valley. The patios always look their absolute worst by August. But with the first cool mornings of Fall I am again inspired to clean the tables and plant some new Fall color. Harvest will continue through the beginning of October but dust and cool weather are easier to take than dust and HOT. A fresh coat of orange paint looks so cute on Grandbabies little wicker chair.

MINE FOR AWHILE
When asked this morning what my favorite possesion is, there was a very distinct pause in my mind. Because I really don't feel like things are mine for more than a season and because I believe that life is a mist, the outlook on things is surely different. I enjoy the beautiful things around me but then that doesn't mean they are mine. But, if for one moment I thought that something belonged to me, oh the painting that Darling Husband bought for me years ago at a Hunting Convention. That would be it. Daily I look at this painting and love the man for putting his hand on her arm. It is Darling Husband and we are in Africa again. It is just what he would do.
