Happy Easter

What a delightful weekend we have had.  Saturday morning was the car show in Stockton.  We rushed home in the afternoon to get changed and head to Livermore to our friends wedding.  Enjoyed the beautiful wedding and drove back home.  This morning was spent worshipping our Risen Savior and then lunch with family and friends.  We are so blessed.  We know this well.

 Darling Husband has been waiting to show our two cars at this show for so long.  Today was the day.  I am pretty sure that I saw about 5 people out of 500 vote my car as the best in coupes!!!  They will be calling tomorrow for me to pickup my trophy, I'm sure.

A Double Delight Garden Walk

Three new raised boxes await wire (to keep away gophers) and soil.  A sound system is being installed in the garden with rock shaped speakers. I think Classical Music in the garden is a wonderful addition.

 The old white garden chairs have seen better days.  I bought some lime green paint.  It will be just the face lift they need.

 Japanese snowballs are blooming in the shade garden right now.  They look so sweet fixed with a rose bouquet.

 Double Delight is an old favorite of mine. 

 The Lady Banks Rose made it onto my blog last year. (have I been blogging a year already?) But it always puts on such a show.

 The Secret Garden.  It is not much of a secret, but you can't see it from the main yard.  I love to walk around the corner and see this beautiful garden each morning.

This year we added an outdoor shower.  It has yet to be used but even has hot water!!  All in all, I am so blessed with these gardens.  Darling Husband just lets me loose out there.  I am thankful.  Thinking about learning how to make pottery.......

Order more river rock, plant by the bunkhouse, rip out old roses, plant new lavender garden, go to garden center, add new annuals to secret garden, order wood for new raised beds for tomatoes, look into new heirloom varies, weed, weed, weed......ah Spring is here.

A Very Good Life

Some days it is just good thinking to go out into the garden to clear your head.  Today I got so upset for an unjustice done to a friend that I was having a bit of a nutty. So, a garden walk with my camera put things back to right.  Unjustice is still unjust but we are living a very good life.....

Happy Birthday Darling Husband!  A very yummy pineapple upside down cake, just perfect for a birthday afternoon.  Notice sweet grandbaby in the corner with a purse on each shoulder.  Such a party lady!
We are blessed.
