My darling husband is just a boy! He has been rebuilding this 1965 Mustang and today picked it up from the shop where it got glass put in. Very exciting time for us. It really looks like a car with glass in it. I know he is thrilled as he is working on it with a temperature and a cold right now. Boys will be boys......

Adorable Grandbaby
Is there a sweeter love than that for a grandchild? I just can't imagine. This little darling both scares and delights us. She is everything to us in just 6 short months. Her parents bless and please. Her uncle and auntie adore her too. Having her live next door is added bliss. Kisses and hugs become necessary before each outing. We are created for relationship and family. Darling Husband and I were talking last night about how we both love vintage stationwagons. I wondered if it is because they symbolize family to us? Every hicup and coo brings a smile from
all who hear. I pinch myself and realize that this is real. Good reason to get back on that treadmill!!

Hydranga
My back porch has been taken over by this hydranga!
In years past I have gotten it to turn very blue but this
year I missed the mark. It will be pale blue and a bit of
pink. I think that this must be the perfect location for
a hydranga. Just the right amount of morning sun and
afternoon shade. It really delights me each year.

Luncheon Day
Today was Bible Study Ladies Luncheon Day. The weather couldn't have been better. Chicken Salad, rolls, fruit and lemonade tasted
just right out in the garden. We had cookies and
a frozen coffee, at which time Darling Husband showed up to join us. He loves chatting with the
ladies at the end of my luncheons. There is always something left to eat that is usually sweet for him to enjoy while he has his visit. I really love to see his face when he shows up. Of course, Mother Dove was on her nest during lunch. She has placed her nest right in a flower basket so that the new babies will have something pretty to look at right away after they are born. An offer of a strawberry was flatly refused but maybe she will save it for later?

Yosemite
Yosemite is only 2 hours away but this is only the second time that I have been there in my life. It is amazing. There
really aren't words to describe the beauty that is there just
for our pleasure. Darling Husband and I had the pleasure of
taking two friends from Texas who had never been there.
I can't say that it was fun to see it through new eyes because
my eyes are very new there as well. There is no way that you could ever look at this place and not be overwhelmed with God's glory. What a day!!
